Brasscraft Sponsors Rosa Parks Foundation Scholarships

This spring, Brasscraft Manufacturing Company sponsored ten students through The Rosa L. Parks Scholarship Foundation. This foundation is dedicated to awarding scholarships to Michigan high school seniors who hold close to Mrs. Parks’ ideals while demonstrating academic skills, community involvement, and economic need. Since it was founded by The Detroit News and Detroit Public Schools in 1980, The Rosa Parks Scholarship Foundation has awarded over $2,000,000 in scholarship money to more than 1,000 students. There were 41 total winners this year.

Kristi Plain, VP of Global Talent for Brasscraft, says, “You can’t help but smile about this. These young people have worked diligently and deserve every opportunity to make their impact on the world. Brasscraft is pleased to be able to help them in the next part of their journeys.”

Congratulations to all the 2020 scholarship winners!
