Masco & Catalyst Celebrate International Women’s Day

In March, members of the local Women in Leadership groups across several of Masco’s business units participated in an event for International Women’s Day, co-hosted by our nonprofit partner Catalyst.

Founded in 1962, Catalyst drives change with preeminent thought leadership, actionable solutions and a galvanized community of multinational corporations to accelerate and advance women into leadership. Lauren Pasquarella Daley, PhD, who serves as Vice President- Women and the Future of Work for Catalyst, spoke to our employees about the opportunities in the rapidly changing workplace and how we can ensure the changes create more equitable conditions for all employees. She also spoke about the necessity of pushing back against common workplace language that reinforces negative gender stereotypes.

The session further included a special segment celebrating the contributions of four influential female leaders from Delta Faucet Company, BrassCraft Manufacturing Company, Masco Canada, and Masco HQ. The women honored serve as leaders and mentors in their workplace, and all four women make time to serve their community as well, giving their time and talents to important causes in their regions through board work and volunteerism. Thanks to these incredible women for their impact!

Masco is proud to support Catalyst’s year-round work to make gender equality a reality across workplaces.
