Masco Enterprise Supports Ukraine Relief

Masco and its companies across the globe have united to support the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine and the Ukrainian citizens now seeking refuge in Europe and North America.

This year, in response to both the Afghan and Ukrainian populations entering Michigan, Masco made a donation to The Children’s Fund, a nonprofit that is leading Michigan’s state-wide effort to assist all refugees with Humanitarian status. Among other urgent needs, their work is focused on K-12 educational support and access to legal and language services. Likewise, Delta Faucet Company made a donation supporting United Help Ukraine, which is providing medical supplies and humanitarian aid to those displaced within Ukraine as well as refugees of the conflict.

In addition to financial donations, Masco companies have made business choices to support the Ukrainian people. Several of our brands, including Watkins Wellness, Kraus and Hansgrohe, have stopped shipment to Russia. Our Hansgrohe team in Germany has allowed its employees to give banked overtime to help Ukrainians. And our Masco Canada headquarters is hiring Ukrainian refugees who have been resettled in their community.

Finally, our employees have shown personal dedication to the cause. Over the last few months, Masco U.S. employees, aided by our Matching Gift Program, have sent over $38,000 in personal donations to Ukrainian relief organizations. Employees at Masco HQ also collected emergency items like diapers, medical supplies, and hygiene products that were brought to western Ukraine by the nonprofit UCARE, supervised by a member of our Masco Legal team who went to Poland and Ukraine to volunteer at humanitarian centers.

We are proud to continue Masco’s legacy of providing humanitarian support to those in need.

This year, Masco is partnering with the Detroit news station WDIV to broadcast a special series in Masco World Headquarters’ home region of Southeast Michigan. Students Learn about STEM Careers at Masco

In October, Masco hosted students from Detroit-based Central High School for a day to learn about some unique careers as part of our nonprofit partner Life Remodeled’s “Career Visioning Field Trips.” First touring our Flight Operations office, the students saw the airplane hangar and heard about the variety of job paths available in aviation. Then, at Masco Research & Development, they met with our scientists who explained how they test our products for safety and durability by using their expertise in chemistry, metallurgy, microbiology and more.
