Masco Participates in Forté Panel for Women in Business
Last month, Masco’s Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and Investor Relations, Renee Benedict, was invited to be a panelist for a Forté Foundation webinar called Conquer Your Career – Corporate Finance. Geared toward MBA and early career women, the conversation explored what it’s like to work in the finance division of a large company. It also featured Renee and her fellow panelists candidly discussing their career journeys, personal experiences, and lessons learned along the way.
As part of our Masco Million Differences philanthropic commitment, Masco has been a proud sponsor of the Forté Foundation for the last three years, supporting their mission to launch women into fulfilling, significant careers through access to business education, professional development, and a community of successful women. Thanks to Forté Fellowships, nearly 10,000 women have earned or are pursuing MBAs, and their subsidized career prep programs and skill-building workshops help women at all stages boost their business acumen.
Masco strives for gender equity in our own organization and is proud to have donated over $80,000 since 2018 to help the Forté Foundation lift up women in business around the nation.
