Behr Participates in Nationwide Cleanup of Military Cemeteries

During the Masco Month of Service in September, over 60 Behr team members joined thousands of volunteers from across the country on the anniversary of 9/11 for a nationwide beautification of military cemeteries led by Behr’s nonprofit partner Carry The Load. Employees from over a dozen states participated, cleaning headstones at 15 locations spanning from Brooklyn’s Cypress Hills National Cemetery (NY) to San Bruno’s Golden Gate National Cemetery (CA).

Matt Knight, Vice President of Sales- West Region and the leader of Behr’s Veterans Employee Group, volunteered at Riverside National Cemetery in CA. “This experience is incredibly rewarding in many ways. Simply giving back to those that gave everything for their country is the most rewarding factor for me personally,” Matt said. “I reflect on this weekly as a veteran myself to ensure I stay grounded and as a reminder of how fortunate we are in life.”
