Kichler Volunteers Support A Special Wish Holiday Drive-Thru

In November, a group of Kichler employees used their company-paid volunteer time to support A Special Wish Foundation of Northeast Ohio (ASW), a nonprofit organization dedicated to granting the wishes of children between birth and 20 years of age who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.

Most of the “Wish kids” have compromised immune systems and cannot go to the mall to see Santa. To help these kids experience the season to the fullest, ASW will hold a Holiday Drive-Thru event later this month so that their families can visit safely with Santa while being in the car. The Wish kids will also see princesses, action heroes, Star Wars figures, and live reindeer, and receive gifts. And to help create the magic of the Holiday Drive-Thru, Kichler employees wrapped 1,400 boxes in holiday paper to create walls of presents to line the route cars will take!

Thanks to employees across our family of companies who are helping bring holiday cheer to underserved members of their communities.
