Masco and Delta Faucet Donate to Tornado Relief

After tornadoes ripped through the American South and Midwest just a few weeks before the new year, Masco and our Delta Faucet business unit provided a year-end gift to support the critical work of the American Red Cross in the affected regions. While Masco had already donated to the American Red Cross earlier in 2021 to help the organization prepare in advance for just such emergencies, the December tornadoes were personal to our Delta Faucet community: Morgantown, KY, is home to a Delta Faucet plant and hundreds of Delta Faucet employees and their families.

To support our Morgantown colleagues in the wake of the devastation, Masco and Delta Faucet each donated emergency funds to the American Red Cross of Western Kentucky. In addition to running emergency shelters, helping replace prescriptions and wheelchairs, and providing meals and emotional support in the immediate aftermath of the tornadoes, American Red Cross’s trained disaster workers have also stayed in communities like Morgantown to provide ongoing support as the scale of the damage is assessed.

Delta Faucet also made donations to two local elementary schools who are involved in tornado relief services and are giving direct support to families as they begin to rebuild. We are continuing to keep all those affected by the tornados in our thoughts, and we encourage our employees to take advantage of our Matching Gift Program, which allows our U.S. employees to double their personal nonprofit donations through a dollar-for-dollar Masco match.
